Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Mother's Day
On Thursday morning, we were delighted to welcome more than 100 families to our special Mother’s Day event. It was a wonderful morning filled with sunshine, smiles and special moments shared between children and their mums and special family members.
Families enjoyed creating beautiful flowers together, with one flower planted in our school garden as a lasting reminder of the morning, while the other was taken home to brighten homes and be enjoyed as a special keepsake. It was lovely to see parents and children working side by side, working creatively together and enjoying quality time outdoors.
Following the planting activity, mums had the opportunity to relax and connect over a cup of tea while enjoying sweet treats and fresh fruit. Families also enjoyed capturing special memories together at our Mother’s Day photo frame.
A sincere thank you to the staff who thoughtfully planned and prepared for the event. Your time, creativity and organisation helped create such a warm and welcoming morning for our families.
We hope all of our mums and special family members enjoyed the celebration and we wish everyone a very HAPPY Mother’s Day for Sunday!
Book Week
Book week is always very exciting at our school. Students dress up as their favourite book character and participate in a character parade. Parents and Carers are welcomed to come and watch the parade to see the lovely smiles on their children's faces.
Cross Country
On Thursday 26th March, we held our annual cross country event. It was great to see the level of participation by our students and the families that came to cheer for them.
Congratulations to all students including those that have progressed to the Zone Cross Country, who will be proudly representing Pendle Hill Public School.
We wish them the very best of luck.
" What we love most is that Pendle Hill Public School embraces diversity and celebrates each child's unique background and strengths. It’s a vibrant, culturally rich school that not only acknowledges diversity – it actively weaves it into daily learning, events, and classroom conversations. From Harmony Day celebrations to inclusive cultural programs and language support, every child is seen, heard, and respected for who they are and where they come from". — a parent of Pendle Hill Public School
