Book Week Character Parade

What a wonderful celebration of books, reading and imagination we have enjoyed at Pendle Hill Public School for Book Week 2026!

Book Week is always a special time in our school calendar. While there is plenty of fun involved, at the heart of the week is something incredibly important — encouraging our children to love books, enjoy reading and discover the places that stories can take them.

One of the highlights was, of course, our Book Parade. It was fantastic to see our playground filled with favourite characters as students proudly paraded their costumes. From much-loved classics to newer favourites, there was an incredible variety of characters represented. Our teachers also embraced the occasion and joined in the fun!
